1 | Integrity | Num 12:7 | Praise Be To God | 131969
Hi, Angel. It's very nice to meet you. However, I disagree with your answer, and here's why. Moses did not even get to enter into the Promised Land because he did defy God! Moses even killed a man, an Egyptian. No, I think it was Joseph who showed the most integrity throughout his life. He always followed God and honored God, allowing God to lead the way through his many trials and tribulations, until he finally became the most powerful man in all of Egypt, next to Pharoah. Through all his life, he never once defied God or broke a command. My vote is for Joseph. (Although, Steve, I just saw your answer of Daniel. You are right. Daniel is a good choice, too. Actually, it would be hard to choose between Daniel and Joseph.)
2 | Integrity | Num 12:7 | Country Girl | 132024
As you've seen in the numerous responses, it's difficult to narrow the answer down to just one, there are so many good candidates from God's Word. But it seems you're striving to narrow the field down to those who showed such integrity ALL their lives (which you neglected to make clear in your initial question :-). So people like David, Paul and Moses who made serious mistakes in their lives wouldn't qualify and meet your very tough standard. I'm not sure I could top your candidates of Daniel or Joseph but I would remind you that Joseph did try to assert his way with his father in switching hands on his sons. That's the single instance where we see Joseph not in complete sync with God's chosen. One more candidate that at least should NOT be left out of this line up is Enoch. We don't know much about him but he at least led such a good life that God took him without the advent of death. Your question does spark some very good discussion so Blessings to you, my friend. Greetings, Country Girl. Thank you for your great response. Yes, I had thought of Enoch--another very good example of integrity. As you so rightly say, there are plenty of good candidates from God's Word. Job is a very good example, and there is even scripture to back it up. But, we have overlooked the obvious. The greatest example of integrity in the Bible is Jesus Christ.
