Dear Borgain I am very thankfull that you took time to answer me so i see that if the couple knew what it ment to have sex and they were making plans for a "legal"(paper) marriage then it is not to be seen as a sin, but as the act of marriage itself, departing from this point these two are one, their spirit meltet into one spirit, and one flesh, according to the word of God. Both knew what a sexual contact means in the eyes of God, marriage and also what it means, for man as for the woman(spiritual leadership, ect)an both prayed together abot this, but the Lord did not give them any special scriptures about it, so i thought to bring an additional light into the situation to ask other believers so that they may prove what it is said about it and pray about so that they do not despice councel, but keep the good and true word which has been given to them through the holy spirit. The Lord revealed about a a year agot both peolple His plans for them as a couple , to the man the Lord showed him this girl is going to be his wife, and this young woman also received revelation through the Holy Spirit about it. According to what they told me, i am a good friend of the couple, but just seemed no to get a claer understanding how the Lord thinks about this situation at present Borgain, them you mean they just have to stay faithfull to the Lord and to each other and wait for marriage(ceremony)? in the spiritual worldthey can not get divorsed, if they don't commit adultery,is that right? |

Hi Q: Waiting for the ceremony It is also important to remember what nearly happend to Abram, when he tried for his reasons NOT to reveal to the Egiptians that Sarai was his wife. (Gen 12:10-20) We can not hide behind something, thinking that the Lord does not see our real intensions. As baptism is an "outward witness" of what happened inside, the same needs to happen in this case. The following scriptures talks about divorce and will hopefully answer your other question. Mal 2:16 For the LORD God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one's garment with violence," Says the LORD of hosts. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously." Mat 19 1 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, that He departed from Galilee and came to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan. 2And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them there. 3The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?" 4And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made[1] them at the beginning "made them male and female,'[2] 5and said, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'?[3] 6So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." 7They said to Him, "Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?" 8He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but FROM THE BEGINNING it was NOT so. 9And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality,[4] and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery." 10His disciples said to Him, "If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry." This is a very difficult issue, and the best is to pray about it, and for them. Hope this helps. Borgain |
