1 | Measure of grace? Grace is granted | Eph 4:7 | fwiaskycap | 178691
In this verse, EPH 4:7, it talks about the grace God gave each of us according to a measure. Could you elaborate on this verse. What does this certain measure mean? Different belief in the Word?
2 | Measure of grace? Grace is granted | Eph 4:7 | tsmall | 178692
If you look at and understand the "Parable of the Talents" Matthew 25:14-30 it relates and explains what Christ says in Ephesians 4:7 When we are given God's grace (Holy spirit) we are to do something with it, not just keep it to ourselves. God knows our own special abilities, some are good at teaching, some are good at helping others, some are good at communicating the Scripture, some are gentle and kind and this inspires other with like attributes, some are excited about scripture and that excites others who are ecitable. etc....God wants us to use our unique abilities to spread the Good News (word of God) and not bury it in the ground like in the Parable of the talents. The more you use the measure of grace and abilities that God has given you to bring others to Christ, the more grace Christ will bestow upon you. It's not a different beleif in the Word. The Word has one meaning. But a different way to communicate it to the unsaved and hopefully bring them to salvation. Does this help/make sense? |
