Hi, cadams... Welcome to the forum! That phrase "in heavenly places" appears in this epistle alone (Ephesians 1:3, 20; 2:6; 3:10; and 6:12). The ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ brings us all heavenly blessing. God takes dead people, making them alive (Ephesians 2:1); and estranged people (Ephesians 2:11-12), a single unified people (Ephesians 2:19). Look at the context of those five instances of the phrase "in heavenly places." Work through each carefully yourself. As you pull out the doctrines yourself, they will be more firmly rooted than if you look to others for quick explanations.
