Hello Hank, how have you been?? How about the seven Fruit of the Spirit?? Each peace of this one fruit is a christian characteristic trait that needs to be learned and devoloped within our lives. And the very fact that He's willing to help us to devolop it is praiseworthy within itself. Rather than to ask what is good and praiseworthy in the Lord, which in my book would be EVERYTHING, wouldn't an easier question be what isn't good and praiseworthy in the Lord?? The CurtMan |

Right on, The CurtMan - In all my years and for all the fine Christian men and women, boys and girls, that I've been privileged to know, a great number of them live godly lives and I admire them, but not one of them is praiseworthy. The Lord alone is worthy to be praised. --Hank

Brother Hank, Unbeknown to you, you played a small part in helping me to maintain my part-time job, and my integrity. Thank-you. Today I ran into a certain set of circumstances that ruffled my feathers to no end. I had gotten to the point where I was ready to walk off my job. My sudden departure would have left my supervisor in a real sticky situation. I would have been terminated on Monday for Job Abandonment. I had just about made up my mind on my course of action when I suddenly remembered, of all things, this question of yours and my reply. That started a chain reaction in my thinking process. I started thinking more in detail about ‘longsuffering' and ‘patience'. I then started quoting my memory verses, some of which includes; I Cor. 13:1-13, I Cor. 15:57-58, and Col. 3:12-14. By the time I was finished I was able to see more clearly. What I saw was that I allowed the adversary to get me so hot under the collar, I almost jeopardized my part-time job and my christian integrity. God could have used any avenue of things to get my thinking process on the right track, what He decided to use was a question posted by you. The CurtMan |

The CurtMan - Your narrative is heartwarming and brings to mind the familiar line from William Cowper, "God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform." --Hank
