if you get paid 2000 dollars every month, and your bills total 1900 dollars every month, how can you pay your tithes. Do you neglect paying your bills and use that money for your tithes? Just wondering | ||||||

Hi 12pvchecks, Assuming your example is describing a real situaution, you do have a problem! I wouldn't presume to have an answer for you or be able to provide you with specific counsel as I don't know your situation. It would also be inappropriate as the Forums' primary purpose is Bible study and not personal or financial counsel. I would seek a competant and trusted Christian adviser to give you advice on these matters. Developing a budget- if you don't have one- would be an excellent place to start. I've read several books by Larry Burkett and Ron Blue that can help you to develop a plan to deal with these issues. If you want the titles, feel free to e-mail me. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
