1 | Hank is wainting, are you ready? | 2 Cor 1:10 | justme | 215469
To all brothers and sisters in Christ on this forum: I just read about Hank going home. I know Hank will be waiting for us when we get to go home too. Going home is glory for Hank. For us left here awaiting the Holy Father to bring us home it seems like a sad time, as we will miss Hank. For those of us, like me, Hank was always pressing us to dig deeper, and to put our answer in the correct form of English. Some of you might have picked up by now I have a impairment. Hank was kind and loving to me. Hank and his wisdom and Bible knowledge was something so very special to me. Hank spread Christian love beyond what the average Christian can ever do. I will miss Hank. Justme.....Mike |

2 | Hank is wainting, are you ready? | 2 Cor 1:10 | stjohn | 215481
Dear Mike, (Justme) Thank you so much for your encouraging and uplifting words about our dear brother, Hank. I know that the SBF will not ever be the same without him. As I read through some of Hank's 6,800 plus posts, I'm very impressed by the kindness, the grace, and the profound wisdom that our Lord blessed him with. We can do no less then to strive to study harder, pray harder, and live our lives with more of a Christ-like attitude, to show our gratitude for God allowing us to spend some time with our dear brother. Let us follow Hank's godly lead and, honor his memory by doing the best we can to show the kind of love and respect for God's Holy Word that he did. And also strive to show each other that same respect and love as well. I would encourage everyone who reads this to read through some of Hank's posts. I can guarantee you will be the better off for it. John |

3 | Hank is wainting, are you ready? | 2 Cor 1:10 | justme | 215500
st.john: Have you ever thought about why we say "pray harder"? I have used that therm for many years. But one day I heard someone say that and it just did not add up. Is prayer hard? Maybe a better word would be pray more intentionaly? Maybe you can come up with a better term? Blessings. justme |

4 | Hank is wainting, are you ready? | 2 Cor 1:10 | Vintage68 | 215502
Hi justme I feel that James said it about as good as it can be said, no improvement necessary:-) These words, are inspired by God, they describe the end result first, connoting Hope - Faith which are uplifting to our spirits. Our Heavenly Father desires us to be always constant, never ceasing. For we already know, we have those things, we desire of Him. "I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth." "Offer unto God thanksgiving," for all He has done. "Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness." For we are the righteousness of God in Christ, knowing "he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Therefor we know that what soever we may ask in Jesus name believing, he hears us. James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Vintage68 |
