The problem with putting too much stock in "The Giants of the Past" is that there also some so called "giants" who taught Arianism, Gnosticism, Montanism, Subordinationism, Pelagianism, Jehovah Witness, Christian Science, Mormonism, and Word of Faith and introduced the errors into Catholicism. True Wisdom of man should be cherished but it must always be held against the litmus test of the Word of God. And never as a denominational viewpoint of how we read and understand God's word. |

My "Giants" may be totally different group of people than your "Giants" and I imagine the divide is down demoninational doctrine. |
