that is the most correct translation and the old testament and new testament runs in continuity with each other. it isn't going to say the angel of the lord in the old and not in the new. there is only one angel of the lord | ||||||

Dear cowboy, The problem with that is, you are still not seeing that there is a difference between THE angel of the Lord, and, AN angel of the Lord. Not to diminish or disparage the KJV, I happen to love it for all it's worth. But there are many, more accurate translations; The NASB being one of them. And it has it in the NT as, AN angel of the Lord. Yes, there is only one that can rightly be called, THE angel of the Lord, but not every angel is, THE angel of the Lord.
