God's day to you, Blessed and Highly Favored, It is important that you seek wise Christian counsellor. Go to your pastor and ask him for advice - if he can help or know where to go. It is true even more, since there is a child. This is more important than my sharing my experience. I presume you aren't married ... else, my experience is mute. We were in love. My mother even thought she was the one for me to marry. While the breakup was hard, I was willing to let her go. Love is a decision, more than a feeling. So I needed to chose to stop loving her. I wanted the very best for her, which may be key. Not seeing (or contacting) her was needed. I rememered who we both love more than we loved than each other, so I that helped, too. I didn't rush into another relationship ... in fact, I waited more than a year to date. I wasn't angry or sad ... I was a little lonely ... I knew I was appreciated. Searcher |
