Ok, I really need some help with this one. My Pastor preached a message on marriage, divorce, and ready..remarriage. I agree with him. My question is to those who may know, would these verses give permission for divorce, remarraige or both? Matt.19:8-9 - Sexual Immorality. I Cor.7:15 -an unbeliever leaves their Christian spouse. II Cor.5:17 - New creature in Christ. The blood covers everything. AMEN. Romans 7:1-3 gives death as ok to remarry, that's easy, but do the verses above give permission. Look at Deut -24:1-3, and I Cor.7:27-28. Let me know your thoughts. Love in Christ (Elijah my sons name, and my screen name, My name is Jackson.) |

I guess we need to watch those "heard-hearted" innocent persons. They're the worst kind. :-) |

Radioman2:-) You make a wise statement. I wonder how many divorced Christians out there would like to be labled as "hard hearted". What grieves me is how many Christiand treat divorced Christians as if they were second class Christians. Yet we may not know of the imorality that is hidden behind the false front of a happy married Christian couple. We who consider our selves as such good Christians sure fall short on judging others sin, when we still have many planks in our oun eyes. Shame on those who make such harsh judgemment with out knowing all the facts. Thank your note, you seem kind and wanting to reach out to a world of hurting Christianns who have failed, and need to be pointed back to Jesus. Blessings. justme |
