1 | Church sued by members - now what? | 1 Cor 6:7 | Bauhinia | 189052
Like I began the answer, if you consider it carefully, it should answer your question! "Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?" "Lawsuits with one another" suggests one is suing and another is being sued, doesn't it? Then we read: "Why not rather be wronged?"--See Matthew 18:15-17. |

2 | Church sued by members - now what? | 1 Cor 6:7 | Bauhinia | 189053
In Matthew 18:15, we're told to "go and show him his fault in private." It could be, however, that your brother is not at fault! It could be that qualified persons may be needed to provide convincing evidence of who is in the right--"one or two more" so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses "every fact may be confirmed." Of course, you may be required to attend court if they have summoned you.--Titus 3:1. |
