BUT while my salvation remains, I will have no work (reward or offering) to offer to the Christ who won me the salvation. What an empty feeling that is going to be, if I stand there before Him, empty handed. There use to be a saying ' ....only what is done for Christ will last.' I want to be able to receive a reward so I can offer it to the One who died for me and won my salvation. | ||||||

Thanks, reyju40. And potentially standing before the Lord empty-handed and "empty feeling" begs the question, if heaven is heaven how can there be negative emotions? I once read a curriculum on this rewards subject which taught we'd feel "shame" if we had no crowns to cast at Jesus' feet. Then how can heaven be heaven if there is shame and emptiness? | ||||||
