Hello steelersmaze I think this verse says it pretty well. Commitment is an act of the will. This does not guarantee instant ability. In anyone's job there is a continual need to learn new skills or information in order to perform well. It's the same in serving God. We take an active part in being in the Scriptures. God sanctifies in us in His truth--His Word (John 17:17). Steve |
