1 | WHAT DOES PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT MEAN? | 1 Cor 14:15 | Ray | 55215 | ||
Hi retxar, I was led in a very short preliminary search to Zechariah 12:10. This talks of a spirit of grace and of supplication and the time of writing is before tongues. Zechariah 12:10, "And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit [Or, a spirit] of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me/ whom they pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a first-born." Combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words, I offer this comparison verse. John 19:36,37, "For these things came to pass, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "Not a bone of Him shall be broken." And again another Scripture says, "They shall look on Him/ whom they pierced." From the heart, Ray |

Jesus promised that He would not return until He was welcomed by His people (Mat 23:37-39). One day that will happen and Israel will be saved (Rom 11:25-29). I think that will begin to happen when the Zec. prophesy you have presented here comes to pass. retxar |
