Yes is the short answer. Scripture is quite clear that we will recoqnise those we knew on earth. Equally, the bible is clear that although we will know loved ones we will not pick up where we left off in this life. We are told that none will be given in marriage in heaven.

3 | Mary did not know Jesus at the tome | 1 Cor 13:12 | Xapis | 387
I think that the reason was unbelief. I did not know why Jesus could not do many miracles in his home town because of the people's unbelief until the reality of this concept was applied to my life. My wife and I have a relationship that most people cannot comprehend. Even our believing friends that have met with us for years in Bible study cannot truly understand the oneness that we have. Years of conditioning in the world, telling them that relationships like this were not possible have put a barrier there where their belief system cannot go, yet. Likewise, Jesus was breaking new ground here in the resurrection. The belief systems of the people, even his own disciples were prohibiting them from fully realizing the truth. Jesus broke through those barriers in both cases just like He wants to for us. Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard we try, until God breaks through for us we won't get it.
