1 | Men having long hair a disgrace? | 1 Cor 11:7 | justme | 208634
In Him Imm: The odd thing is we don't have any idea what Jesus really lookes like. We don't know if The hair of Jesus was like to pictures that have been painted of Jesus, as that is only that painter idea. Jesus well could have had shorter hair. Having been a carpenter in my younger years I can say long hair can get in the way real fast. I doubt we have a good idea what jesus looked like, He most likely had dark skin. brown eyes, and tough hands and was a man not a wimp as most pictures make Him look. justme |

I dont like these false images of Jesus, all these pictures of Him and we dont really know what He looks like. You can go to someone house and they have a picture of this man on their wall, and you ask them who is that and they'll say jesus. And its not Him

Paul also said that if any man be contentious we have no such custom, and also Paul also said he would that all men would be as him "single and not married" so on that note may you should not be married either, and since I don't know you; you might be keeping that commandment, however I choose not to keep that commandment but choose to be a married man, and that's not a sin just like long hair will not sent me to hell, and if your going to judge me Because I have long hare, all I can say is I'm really glad your not GOD, and if God has chosen to put his wonderful holy spirit on me and bless me with such wonderful piece of mind with the knowledge that when I Kick the bucket I'll have eternal life, OH! but wait a minute, maybe God should check with people like you first to get permission for me to be blessed in that manner.

Roots, Note, what Paul spoke of being like him was not a commandment. 1 Corinthians 7:6-9 (NASB) 7:6 But this I say by way of concession, not of command. 7:7 Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am. However, each man has his own gift from God, one in this manner, and another in that. 7:8 But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I. 7:9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. But it could be that statements such as this "OH! but wait a minute, maybe God should check with people like you first to get permission for me to be blessed in that manner." would be considered contentious and would seem to me 1 Corinthians 11:17 would be applicable! 1 Corinthians 11:17 (NASB) But in giving this instruction, I do not praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse.
