1 | Praying in tongues | Rom 8:26 | 8788 | 121736
I understand what you are saying, I use to have a really good prayer life. I now have a 2 yo and she stays under me all the time and I really want to spend as much time with God but sometimes it is really busy. I usually go before him during her nap time but sometimes she doesn't sleep very long or the phone rings. I have starting doing my reading in the morning before everyone wakes up and I just feel better praying when I am full a wake. My thing is I'm just trying to have a prayer life pleasing to God but on the other hand he knows my heart. I'm trying to get some balance in my life with 3 children and a husband I have been going to bed at a decent time so I want be tired the next day. I hope I'm not going on and on, the only thing I want to do is pray and cover everyone each and everyday.

Greetings 8788, Please keep in prospective that prayer is all about us building a relationship with the Creator God of the universe. Remember God already knows what your going to ask before you ask. Do not be so concerned with tongues for they will pass away if they have not already. I belive tongues is a known lanuage one is giving the ability to speak through the power of the Holy Spirit. As far as having time for prayer take Paul's advice and pray without ceasing. This means an attitude of prayer. Remember prayer should contain worship praise intercession and any request you have to make. I hope this has helped you. Focus first on Christ and building that relationship He wants with you. In The Love Of Christ, tgc |
