1 | Is the Holy Spirit a sin-enabler? | Rom 8:13 | JCrichton | 138755 | ||
For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, (Romans 8:13) Does Romans 8:13 apply only to unbelievers, atheists, devil worshippers or are Christians accountable to their actions in the sinful nature? Are there minor transgressions that do not violate the premise of this verse: if you live in sin you will die? Are “white lies,” masturbation, homosexuality, adultery, planned abortion, “victimless use of drugs,” wife abuse or “sinning just a little as a preventive measure” the exception to the rule? God Bless! Angel |
