1 | Homesexuality? Wrong? | Rom 1:27 | DarcyA | 93289
Here is proof that Homosexuality is wrong besides stating clearing in the Bible which I am sure most people here have given those verses which state it is wrong. God told Adam and Eve, as well as noah and his sons to be fruitful and multiple. Now if you are a homosexual how can you do this? Today our society says its "normal" If thats that is the case and society realling believes that foolishness put all those who claim to be Homosexuals on an island and give them everything they want. I am 100 percent sure that they will not survive one generation, they would all just die off because they cannot reproduce. Also Note: God blessed Adam, Eve and noah when he said be fruitful and multiply. |

2 | not applied to everyone | Rom 1:27 | ptgard05 | 116454
Yes, the Lord did tell Adam and Eve to multiply and be fruitful, but that does not mean that it applies to everyone. If I tell my friend Jim to go buy me some milk (just for the sake of argument) and I tell him he can keep the change, does that mean that everybody in the whole world has to buy me some milk? No. I told Jim to do something, and I blessed him (with the change) but it does not apply to everyone.
3 | not applied to everyone | Rom 1:27 | Emmaus | 116463
ptgard, Did God ever command any couple, same sex or not, to engage in an intentionally sterile act that is nothing more than a sad parody and counterfeit of the true life giving act he commanded to Adam and Eve? And who is it that is always trying to pass counterfeit currency of happiness. Think Genesis 3, think Matthew 4. Emmaus |

So does this mean that the couples ( man and woman) who can't have a baby....should they be ostracized also? This is the same argument...they can't have a baby so they're wrong. Please.
5 | please... | Rom 1:27 | Emmaus | 116481
ptgard, "So does this mean that the couples ( man and woman) who can't have a baby....should they be ostracized also? This is the same argument...they can't have a baby so they're wrong. Please." That was not my point. Many couples go for years unable to conceive, and some do conceive when they think all hope is lost. I speak from personal experience. But some do not. However, they are performing a natural act whose natural outcome is the possibility of conceiving a new life. That is not the case with homosexual intercourse. It can never produce life, which is the natural function and purpose of sexual intercourse as God designed it. "Be fruitfull and multiply. It is not the temptation to homosexual intercourse that is sin, but the act itself. We are all tempted in various ways. Sin is always an act against our nature as God created us to be, in favor of some disordered disire, whether it be a sexual sin or some other kind. Emmaus |
