I have a problem that I understand what the Bible says, but there othere reasons for the life styl that is lived. I have an older friend who is close to 80. He is nearly blind has health problems such as getting up and moving around and has the begining od altimerzes.He is a Christian and excepted a 54 year old single homeless female to stay in his house as a care taker and house cleaner. She is a LpN nurse. The reason she is staying there is because she has had her own set health and finfinancial set backs. She has lost her her job and has Back and Neck disorders that will need surgery to repair. The problem is, the Church has taken the stance that he is living in sin because she is not married and living in same house. She has her own room and is providing him with a services of Nurse care giver,organizing pills and making sure he takes them on time. Assisting him in getting around in house at times. No Bathing help, such as touching. Would help if he fell, like calling 911 as he is large man. Plus she pays some rent to his Daughter who has Power of Attorney He has been told she needs to go, because their living in sin. What Biblee verses say this and your veiws please |

2 | Is this couple living in sin | Rom 14:4 | EdB | 235506 | ||
Romans 2:1 (NKJV) 1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. I would say the church is the one with the problem. What would they this man to do, live by himself when in fact he needs care? Unless they the church are willing send care givers into his house 24/7 I would say they should remain quiet. |
