This is a great passage and in context is dealing with mature and imature believers and how mature believers should deal with those new to their faith. It deals with convictions, i.e. should we see R rated movies and not core doctrines, i.e. was Jesus fully God and fully human. Also, this passage should not be construed to mean that belivers are not to judge. Clearly, the bible does teach us to judge in many areas. We often confuse judge with condem. We are to judge (teachings, actions, behaviors etc. God is the one who condems. | ||||||
