new creation ...thank you for the info. on where to find help. There is much more to this story ... like you said ... more info keeps showing up ... I also was denied a position as music director at my home church two weeks after I lost my job. The review commitee said they need someone more stable and better suited for the job. I am still devistated. I have known many troubles, as often Christians do, but this time I feel anger. I have waited in hope many years for the chance to serve my lord in praise. And now the rejection has got me befuddled, and drifting. There is some merit to the excuse they gave for terminating me, but I know otherwise. My Christian beliefs tell me to forgive and go on, but I can't seem to go anywhere. A friend pointed out to me that this man (the manager) broke the law. Why should an enemy of God go unpunished by man? |

Scripture ... Lev 19:18; Deu 32:35; Pro 20:22, 24:29; Mat 5:39-45; Rom 12:17-21; 1Th 5:15; 1Pe 3:9 ... These are several passages an enemy of God should not be punished by man. Also, if when I read the Psalms, there are many places where God is called upon, even thanked for taking action. I think if we plot to punish another, we keep them in our prison, so we are the jailer and are responsible for them ... plus, we may be never satisfied with what they get for punishment. Remember we were all enemies of God when Christ died for us ... and more may cme to Him because they see Christ in us. Let the courts take action - Rom 13:1ff |
