That's an interesting question, Mom. I seem to find differing opinions. They seem to include: 1. The unconverted Jews. 2. The Jews and Christians alike. 3. The remaining 120 disciples of whom Ananias had been one. I actually lean toward 1 and 3. :-) How's that for ambivalent? :-) I do think that God wants men to "fish or cut bait." As in most things, it is hard for men to put their lives on the line. Remember how the Israelites didn't want to hear God directly, but wanted Moses to be a mediator? This sort of thing is built into the Adamic nature, I believe. |
