arrow1 ... you posted under your own post. Nonetheless, the washing of sins happens literally within us at conversion - for Saulm on the road ... then, it is figuratively/ symbolically when one enters the (literal) waters and is "washed" or if you wish "baptized" by someone else. |

So what you're saying is, Saul upon meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus was spiritually(washed and/or cleansed of sin internally by the Holy Spirit) baptized if you will, and then later after meeting Ananias, was water baptized by him as a symbol, making his public confession of faith. If that's what you mean that's okay, I just wanted to clarify your statement in my own mind. I'll respect your answer.
