Greetings Ausbarry! I wouldn't translate it that way! The word isn't quite that wooden in meaning. It doesn't have a sense of immediacy (sp?) with the future infinitive. It can be translated that way in a couple of other constructions, but it can also be translated as 'why delay' or to indicate purpose in other constructions.
