The body of Jesus Christ is the only visible manifestation of God we will ever see... God did not give the blood of his son, but rather he gave his own blood exactly as Paul wrote in Acts 20:28 "...GOD, WHICH HE HATH PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD" If God, sent a son, the second person in the godhead, to die on the cross, then He instituted CHILD SACRIFICE. This is in total disharmony with anything Biblical concerning the nature of God. God did not send his son, a second person in the godhead to die for mankind, He came Himself in the body of Jesus Christ! because God is a Spirit. The incarnation provided a 'body' for that Spirit to visibly dwell in - ie., Emmanuel, God with us in the Flesh... Colossians 2:9 states it so succinctly: "For in Him (Jesus Christ) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. The child of the virgin Mary was literally the Son of God! Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. The only explanation that can possibly be made is that the Father and the Holy Ghost are one and the same and that the body of the child is the visible manifestation of the invisible God - God with us in the flesh! |
