1 | who is the number twelve person in 1 Cor | Acts 1:21 | BERG | 119883
Please clarify a verse for me. 1 Cor 15: 5 says "Jesus appeared to Peter, and then to the twelve". This appears to have occured after the Resurection and before the Assension. Acts 1:26 says that Matthias was chosen to replace Judas after Christ Ascended. So, who is the number twelve person in 1 Cor 15: 5, as Judas was dead? Was Matthias already chosen when Christ " appeared to the twelve"? |

3 | who is the number twelve person in 1 Cor | Acts 1:21 | Rowdy | 119891
Remember this Book was written by Luke who "interviewed" the Apostles and other key folks and of course was guided by the Holy Spirit. So his perspective was from a historical viewpoint; that is, he wrote long after it happened. Hope this helps and God bless. --Rowdy |
