Dear Corin, Everyone chosen of God will be saved and preserved forever. This is the Work of God. No one can do anything to make God think he is more worthy of salvation. We are all, every one of us, completely unworthy of salvation. Since it is entirely by grace that we are saved, all of our sins our covered by the blood. A person losing their mind and sinning, if they are saved, has their sins covered by grace -- although that is very hypothetical. A person who habitually sins is not a saved person (1 John 2:2-3).
