1 | does Jesus judge or not? | John 5:22 | plinsky | 65926
Easy, Hank . . . I had always thought that judging was done by God the Father, and our advocate was Jesus Christ. (John 12:47-48). I am trying to "inwardly digest the plain truth of Scripture." That's why when I read something that seems contradictory I ask those of you with more understanding. Thanks for your followups! |

Plinksy, upon reading my post and your somewhat negative reaction to it, for which I do not blame you, I see clearly now that my words were unnecessarily brusque and possibly carry a connotation which was neither warranted nor intended. Accordingly, I beg your pardon for any offense or affront to you that may have been occasioned by the post. --Hank
3 | does Jesus judge or not? | John 5:22 | plinsky | 65974
Hi Hank - No problem! I'm not offended - I'm just trying to reconcile a couple of verses. And now that I think about it, it's sort of a moot point anyway. Humankind certainly will be judged at the last day, and that's the most important thing to remember. God bless you! Plinsky |
