1 | You are saved when you accept Christ . | John 3:5 | Chucky1146 | 2568
I believe that you have to be baptized, but I believe when you accept Christ as Lord you are saved, then it is a command to be baptized. The order is Repent, Accept, and be baptized. 1. Repent- Sorry for your sins, turn in another direction 2.Accept- Ask Jesus to come into your heart,I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. At this point I believe you are saved. If you are not around water you can't be baptized, and if you died at this point you would not go to Hell, but you should get baptized as soon as you can 3.Be Baptized- The third command, but you are all ready saved. |

2 | You are saved when you accept Christ . | John 3:5 | 2845
The following verse makes it clear that "born of water" is talking about physical birth and refering to when the water breaks at the time of birth. To take this verse out of context and imply that it means water baptism is a terrible twisting of Scripture.
3 | You are saved when you accept Christ . | John 3:5 | rachellynn | 198336
I do not believe that this part in scripture is referring to a physical birth because for one, Jesus always talked in parables and poetry, Two, right before he states that, he was responding to nicodemus' question about not being able to go back into the womb, Jesus said john 3:5....so why would it be twisting the scripture?
