1 | The uniqueness of Jesus as God's son | John 3:16 | Makarios | 44599
You are welcome, may-it! :-) The Lord has blessed me with a loving family, an excellent job and career, a "reliable" computer, great friendships, and a passion for the Bible, to name a few! And if things did happen to turn for the worst, I would still consider myself "blessed", since I know that I will be with Christ when I die. That is why I wanted the Greek word "makarios" for my Username, since that pretty much says it all (blessed)! Have a most excellent day today! Makarios |

4 | The uniqueness of Jesus as God's son | John 3:16 | may-it | 44930
Good day Nolan! Likewise, Thanks for giving me background about yourself. Well, It's a good thing to klnow that we're of the same age,If God's will I'll be 26 come May.It's my first time to hear the name of the church you're attending to, can you enlighten me on what beliefs you're church has. I agree when you said Adventist are excellent people to be with, it's not to be bragging but it's true, nontheless, there's always an exceptions. We always have the capacity to fail especially when we turn our eyes off to Jesus. Before I end can I have your e-mail address, that is if its okay in your behalf. Again, Thanks and God Bless you always! Mychelle |

5 | The uniqueness of Jesus as God's son | John 3:16 | Makarios | 44943
Greetings Mychelle! Wow, we must be the "young ones" of the Forum! :-) The church that I attend is a Conservative Mennonite Church. Their stances include nonresistance (using peaceful means to resist oppression instead of warfare), Believer's baptism (they do not baptise infants), no swearing of oaths (they take Matt. 5:33-37 literally), footwashing after communion, and they have their women wear headcoverings (or veils). After being a part of that church for awhile, I have found that I really only agree with their stances on Baptism and footwashing. I believe that I have more than enough reasoning and Scripture to convince others of their stances on swearing oaths, nonresistance and that of the head covering. But I will not "make waves" and make this public, and I will continue to go with their stance as long as I am there. May it be far from me that Satan should use me to split a church. That is a little bit about my church, and thank you for asking! Your Brother in Christ, Makarios (Nolan Keck) E-mail: nkeck98@yahoo.com P.S. You can also get my e-mail address by 'clicking' on my name with your mouse, and you will bring up my 'User Profile.' Have a blessed day! |
