1 | Am I once and forever saved? | John 3:16 | DAIRYLEADER5 | 85365
Once saved always saved is a deception, a frend of mine went to a church revivel about 7 years ago and was saved, he changed his life and for a while he was doing real good. His pastor told him and his study group once youve been saved theres no way to be lost again. So he went back to his old ways sleeping with any girl he could find and closeing the bars down. lets look at Heb. 6;1thru9, Mark 13;13,. Math.,24;13,. Mark 4;17,. Thes.1;4,. 2Tim.,4;3 thru 5,. Heb,. 12;16 thru 20. The Bible says That there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ. But if youve left your first love,God, then you are no longer in Christ. I hope this helps, please read for your self and make up your mind and ask God to help you see the truth. with love in Jesus.

No, we are not once and forever saved. Isn't it a fact that our salvation is a roller coaster ride of being saved on Sunday and then losing it on Monday? Eternal life by definition is temporary, is it not? Isn't it a fact that Jesus is NOT able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He does NOT ever live to make intercession for them? Isn't it a fact that my salvation depends on God AND me? And that if I mess up, I might lose it? Isn't it obvious that if there is no security in our salvation, we can never have any assurance of it? Where does it say in the Bible "if you've left your first love, God, then you are no longer in Christ"? Please show us the book, chapter and verse where the Bible says this. |

Nevertheless I have some what against the, because thou has left thy first love. Remember there for from whence thou art fallen, and Repent, and do thy first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candelstick out of his place, except thou Repent. The loudist that Jesus warned all of us to stay the course comes from the letters to the churches in revelations. These are not just Churches, these are Church ages.Starting at Rev.2;1 thru3;22. Also look at Heb. 6;6 real close. Look at Math. 24;4 thru 13. Jesus stated that "He that endure unto the end shall be saved." we hafe to endure unto the end. 1st Pet. 4;18. Math 10;22., special look at Heb,. 3;12 thru 14. Heb 3;6 These are just a few I wanted to mention. We hafe to take one day at a time untill we reach our time to die and face our judgement. Peace with Jesus DL5

Revelation 2:4-5 does not say what you said it does. DAIRYLEADER5: You write: "But if youve left your first love,God, then you are no longer in Christ." What it actually SAYS is: Revelation 2 [4] Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. [5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Note that the text says: "or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." "WILL REMOVE THY CANDLESTICK OUT OF HIS PLACE"; not "you are no longer in Christ." We know what the Bible means by what IT says -- not by what WE think it says. Grace and peace, Radioman2 |

For we are made partakers of Christ, If we HOLD the begining of our confidence stedfast unto the end;Heb. 3;14. This is one of the many conditions of continued life in Christ. Mark 13;19 an 20., Mth. 5; 19 an 20.Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 2pet 1;19 an 20. 1st Cor,. 1;1 thru 8,. God wants us to dig deeper into his word looking for the hidden mysteries that he speeks of, I know that I cannot convince all men of the revelation of the word the Holy spirit has given me but, those who have read will all give an account as I will of what has been said.
