How do you help someone to receive Christ if they are so analytical and they are used to having facts and seeing to believe something. I know that it is by faith the we are saved and that we believe, so how do you deal with someone like this? | ||||||

Explain how Christ has changed you. An analytical person can not dispute how you feel. The term "born again" means nothing to an analytical person (like Nicodemus), use "new and improved" when describing yourself now and how you used to be. It is a fact that when we invite Jesus into out lives we are changed forever, and you can prove it by the way you live. You have to be honest with yourself or an analytical person will claim hypocrisy. No Christian is perfect. An unsaved person is driven by their sin, a Christian is driven by rightousnous. One way to look at it is: the sin you used to do without thinking about or caring about the consequences, you now commit less often - knowing it is wrong and with God's help you are trying to stop. |
