1 | water to wine? | John 2:1 | Val | 205517 | ||
Dear John, Do you think knowing what other people were thinking is considered a miracle. I remember that the Lord always knew what people had in their hearts. He said this about the religious leaders. Wasn't that part of Him being fully God that He knew people's hearts? Blessings, Val |

Hi Val: Yup! Yes Ma'am, I sure do! And also the fact that He can have an effect on those hearts, by His Spirit, to bring an, about face, or to say it more clearly, a repentance. And to the second question: yes to that too: I believe only God can perform the miraculous. I guess it depends on your definition of what a miracle is. Judging from Nathaniel's reaction, I believe he must have thought so too. "indeed you are the Son of God!" Miracle: "an event in the external world brought about by the immediate agency or the simple volition of God, operating without the use of means capable of being discerned by the senses"--Easton's Bible Dictionary The thing I would add to that is, I believe He can do that in the spiritual world as well, and not just the external world, after all, He is God. :-) Shalom and God bless John |
