1 | Who is God? | John 20:28 | Searcher56 | 18417
outfora, Thomas called Jesus God. But, not everytime say God, do we mean Jesus, who is the Son of God. It could be the Father or the Spirit. There is only one God ... demons also believe, and shudder (Jam 2:19). Yes, there have been services that called on Allah and other gods, even in places where "Christians" go. I don't think that is crrect. I hope I answered your questions, Steve |

2 | Who is God? | John 20:28 | outfora | 18490
dear steve, you would agree, i am sure , that thomas, being with the risen jesus, was sure of whom this man was, as we, in faith, are sure, of whom this man is. now if he is god, that is a given. his name remains jesus, and it is in this name alone whereby all things are offered salvation unto eternity, and all things are judged. to call him other than jesus, or lord jesus, or jesus my god, or any variation of the name jesus, is surely not voicing who is our god. jesus himself, at the end of revelation says "i, jesus, have sent mine angel". and john says "amen, even so, come, lord jesus". salaam, outfora |
