Dear Beverly: Jesus Christ most definitely did not "imitate" God.... He was, and is, God. John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The verse above is referring to Jesus Christ. Verse 3 also shows Him very clearly as the creator of all things, which we can compare to, Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." I hope this helps you. John |
