2 | What does "I N R I" mean? | John 19:19 | Makarios | 15059 | ||
Thank you RCSCROLL! I looked this verse (John 19:19) up in the Latin Vulgate and found it! (Latin Vulgate) "scripsit autem et titulum Pilatus et posuit super crucem erat autem scriptum Iesus Nazarenus rex Iudaeorum" John 19:19, and sure enough, it is translated as (I)esus (N)azarenus (r)ex (I)udaeorum in Latin! I've learned something new today. :) Thank you! --Nolan |
