8 | to prove trinity??? | John 16:29 | Makarios | 215643 | ||
Greetings RohitJohn93, Here is a list of Scriptures that better explain the Trinity.. Matt. 3:16; Matt. 28:19; Luke 3:22; John 3:34-35; John 14:16-17; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:7; John 16:13-15; Acts 1:2; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 2:33; Acts 10:36-38; Romans 1:3-4; Romans 8:9-11; Romans 8:26-27; 1 Cor. 12:3-6; 2 Cor. 1:21-22; 2 Cor. 5:5; 2 Cor. 13:14; Galatians 4:4,6; 2 Thess. 2:13-14; 2 Thess. 2:16; 1 Tim. 3:16; Titus 3:4-6; Hebrews 9:14; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Peter 3:18; 1 John 5:6-7 The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are portrayed together in scripture: 2 Cor. 13:14, Matt. 28:19. The Father 'sent' the Son (John 3:17). The Father and Son 'love' each other (John 14:31). The Father 'speaks' to the Son, and the Son 'speaks' to the Father (John 11:41,42). The Holy Spirit 'comes upon' Jesus at baptism (Matt. 3). Jesus and the Father are viewed as having 'sent' the Holy Spirit (John 15:26). Clearly, these passages point out a distinction of three distinct Persons who are in interaction with each other. Blessings to you, Makarios |

You asked very broad questions, so the broad answer is yes. I believe your second question, needs very little explanation the reason it is wrong. (Acts 15:20, Rom 13:13, 1 Cor 6:18 to list a few) Mat 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. The other two questions, is dependent on what you are watching. Is what you watching pleasing to the Lord? Some shows I can say without a doubt I wouldn't watch if Jesus was sitting right next to me. Others, I think the Jesus and I could have a good laugh together. My point is if it isn't pleasing to the Lord (I'm not saying you have to sit around and watch the prayer channel 24/7), you shouldn't be doing it, rather it is watching a movie, a tv show, telling a joke. Mat 22:37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Col 3:17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Brad |
