I have some ideas about this, but I would like other input. If a person has never had access to the gospel, would he still have a chance of going to Heaven?
2 | Salvation wihout Jesus? | John 14:6 | kalos | 7243
glory777: We know that God is just and does all things with perfect justice and righteousness. Something to consider is: Clearly there ARE degrees of punishment. I normally reply with scripture not more questions. But I would like to pose the question: Would God be just if He meted out the same degree of punishment to a young man or woman who NEVER even heard the name of Jesus or a clear presentation of the gospel -- would He be just if He punished equally both the hypothetical person I described and Adolf Hitler? I think not. Remember that God is a million times more just than the most conscientious human could ever be. |
