Greetings You don't believe that those in the upper room felt anything when they received the Holy Spirit? And if they didn't fill anything, why did they accuse them of being drunk? |

Hello, I was not implying that feelings aren't involved, but when we make feeling the requirement for receiving the Holy Spirit many people get discouraged thinking that they have never received the Spirit when they have. Sure there could be feelings involved, and I'm sure many have had experiences where they felt the presence of God. Amen? God Bless you Jeff W |

The requirement for receiving the Holy Spirit can be found in Acts 2:38. No one can receive the Holy Spirit without realizing it, therefore, you need no incouragement to reinforce that fact. The presence of God is unmistakable. You can not receive the Holy Spirit without the presence of God, because the Holy Spirit, is God. | ||||||
