Hello iktoose, Jesus did not encourage Judas to betray Him. He knew Judas would betray and did not stop him. The betrayal was going to happen--Judas was just given his cue to act. Ultimately, you can say that this was the way Jesus showed the greatness of God's love (Rom 5:8). Steve |
