1 | Is there judgement or not? | John 12:47 | Joanne | 33638
What exactly does this mean compared against v.48. Does hearing here mean receiving? And if one does not keep Christ's ways, He is not judged by Christ? In v. 48, we see the one who totally rejects. So how would v.47 play into the final judgement then? thanks! |

2 | Is there judgement or not? | John 12:47 | CDBJ | 33658
If one wants to be thoroughly confused compare John 12:47 with John 5:22. John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: To try to understand anything of God's Word apart from the Holy Spirit teaching those that are born again, it is utterly impossible; that it why those that are not of God's family say that the Bible is so full of counter dictions. Jesus in so inner twined with the Bible that one cannot differentiate between Jesus and the Word of God because that is who He is. John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. John 12:50, speaking of Jesus could go on further to say, and so (I Am). I hope that I didn't confuse you more! |
