Dear Budderfligh, I agree with Doc's answer and would like to add for me personally I have come to consider that it may mean that since Christ suffered His followers will suffer; that we will share in His sufferings. There is a verse that the servant is not greater than His master; so in suffering it is used to grow us in our sanctification, I believe that is the right term. Blessings, Val | ||||||
