1 | Demon-possessed believer? | Luke 4:33 | charis | 27180
Dear Elizabeth, Greetings in the name of Jesus! Thank you for you reply, and for your blessings. I agree that there is a problem in answering my question because of the definition of 'believer.' Some would say that we are filled with the Holy Spirit upon 'accepting' Christ, while others believe this in-filling to be a separate event in our walk with the Lord. Then, of course, you would need to decide whether you believe that a person can lose his salvation or not. Which, of course, would lead us to the perennial debate over 'election' and 'free-will,' a.k.a. 'A vs C.' So if you thought MY question was hard... :-) Frankly, IMNSHO, I find some of the more 'polar' or 'absolute' arguments a bit complicated and inelegant. That is why I am known as a 'middle-grounder.' I prefer the term 'Jesus-centric.' :-) Merii Kurisumasu! Blessings and peace to you in Christ Jesus, charis |

3 | Demon-possessed believer? | Luke 4:33 | charis | 27253
Dear Nolan, Greetings, my friend, in Jesus' name! Indeed, "Merii Kurisumasu!" is the Romanization of the Japanese phonetic pronunciation of the English phrase "Merry Christmas!" We sometimes say "Kurisumasu Omedetou!" instead, meaning "Christmas Felicitations." :-) Shu Iesu Kirisuto no shukufuku ga yutaka ni arimasu you ni! May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you in His abundance! charis |
