1 | Should we call gov;t leaders' sin sin? | Luke 3:19 | Summerwind | 15694 | ||
koinekid.Here's a personal extra for what it's worth. I agree with what glory777 wrote and want to add something else. Again, It is exremely important to pray for those who have been appointed over us. Wouldn't it be awesome, or isn't it great, to be able to vote for true Christian's in office at any level. In Tim Layahe's book, Mind Seige, he deals with exact issue. He urges us as Christians to get involved ourselves and or vote according to how God leads you. His book deals with restoring our counrty back to it's moral Christian values instead of a country that excludes God. Even based on that, the Holy Spirit should prompt us to get involved ( as hard as it may be ). In Christ and prayer for your continued e-mail debate |

Thanks to you both. I used the argument of John condemning Antipas' actions in the Gospel of Luke. However, the man whom I'm debating discounted my argument. However, I'm not giving up. I first approached him rather simplistically, as I do whenever I contact someone for the first time. However, he took this opportunity to call my comments shallow and accuse me of not understanding biblical hermaneutics. Afterward I e-mailed him again on a deeper intellectual level and am still waiting to hear back from him. You can find a copy of our correspondences thus far on my website: http://www.geocities.com/apokrinomai/mailbag/politics.htm Please pray for this man to understand the truth of Scripture and our responsibilities as citizens.
