1 | Is flesh existing in heaven now? | Luke 24:39 | kalos | 109115 | ||
NASB Luke 24:39 "See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have." Your brother-in-law may say that Christ exists with flesh and blood in heaven. However, that is NOT what Jesus himself said. After his resurrection, he said that he was flesh and bones. Flesh and bones -- not flesh and blood. "...For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have." |

Greetings Kalos! Isn't it interesting to note: "Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable." 1 Cor 15:50; "So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body;" 1 Cor 15:42 (good verses here!) and Lev 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood," ! Christ's description of Himself as flesh and bones . . . reminds me that He left His blood for us. The life-giving blood of Jesus - Oh how marvelous! mommapbs |
