According to the Gospels, Jesus died for three days after the crucifixion (Matt17:23). What happened to the Trinity meanwhile?! One member, i.e., Jesus , was dead for three days. Did God become two-thirds of a God during the death of Jesus?! Was God functioning with two-thirds of his original capacity?! | ||||||

Scripture ... Matt 17:2ff, Luke 23:46, John 1:14 ... Isaac Jesus, I don't think of God being three thirds, but each is a whole. Nonetheless, Jesus' spirit returned to the Father when He died phyiscally (Luke 23:46). He became flesh. It was so we could see Him (John 1:14). His transfigured being (Matt 17:2ff) would of caused a different reaction. Searcher |
