1 | Looking for an ANSWER not a FIGHT!!!!!!! | Luke 19:10 | AbandonedToHisGrace | 177870
Why oh why in the name of The Living God are you so defensive. I asked a very simple question. What is there about my question that is "Looking for a fight"? Your answer does not answer my question in any event. The facts are very clear. Verse 1 1 has been "TAKEN OUT" of Matthew 18 in the New International Version and I want to know W H Y?? This verse is in the original text and what right has ANY PUBLISHER to take this verse out. I am not in the least concerned or interested about the verse being in another chapter in another version of Gods sacred word, I want to know WHY WHY WHY is it taken out of this particular version?? The Book of Revelation is clear about anyone who adds to or takes away from Gods Word. |

2 | Looking for an ANSWER not a FIGHT!!!!!!! | Luke 19:10 | Morant61 | 177872
Correction.......... I accidently mistyped my options 2 and 3. Option 2 does not have the full 'missing' verse. Rather, it says only that the 'Son of Man came to save the lost'. Option 3 has the full phrase, "The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." The fullest phrase is the least supported, the shorter phrase has some support (but not very old), while the 1st option (no verse 11) has the best textual support. Sorry about the mistyping! ;) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

No problem! :-) And, welcome to the forum! May I suggest that when you respond to someone's post, that you mark it as a note, not as a question. Your response will still be seen, but it will not be listed in the questions section. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
