Aspilos - Before His ascension, the risen Christ gathered His apostles together and this is what He told them: "You will receive power (see Acts 2) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." As the Book of Acts unfolds, one can see plainly that this is exactly what happened and the way it happened -- in the exact geographical and chronological order that Jesus foretold in this passage taken from Acts 1:8. --Hank | ||||||
